Sistech

Sistech is a European non-profit founded in 2017.

We empower refugee women through access to tech & digital jobs.

Sistech was founded by Joséphine Goube, who also co-founded and led the organisation Techfugees. In 2018, Joséphine launched the first #TF4Women Fellowship. This innovative inclusion programme was designed in collaboration with refugee women to accelerate their professional inclusion into tech & digital jobs.

Led by a team of three people initially, the pilot grew into a fully-fledged organisation. Today, Sistech delivers programmes in France, Italy and Greece. We provide mentoring sessions, certified training and networking activities to more than 220 displaced and uprooted women each year, for free!

Sistech aims to support over 1% of working-age refugee women in Europe by 2033, leveraging insights gained from programmes implemented since 2018.

The pilot focused on co-developing one programme tailored to meet the needs of refugee women. We now count three programmes that build bridges between these women and future-focused companies big, medium and small. Notable partners include Orange, Concentrix, Artefact, LinkedIn, Terna and BNP Paribas, all of which recognise the transformative impact of diversity.
