Support a Fellow as she creates a study plan for herself and works through it. Answer questions she doesn’t understand and motivate her to finish her courses. Share technical knowledge and other resources so she can envision the new professional path she has chosen. You must have technical expertise for this role.
Average commitment:
2 hrs / week for 12 weeks
Mentor
Support a Fellow by familiarising her with the local job market. Through regular but informal exchanges, introduce her to relevant job boards, explain recruiters’ expectations, and develop a job-search toolbox (CV, cover letter, references, etc.) Connect her to other professionals who can offer additional support & advice. You don’t have to create a curriculum yourself.

2hrs / week for 10 weeks
Speaker
Share your tech expertise and professional experience with Fellows! Talk about your career, the challenges you’ve faced, and answer their questions during an online session. You must have tech or HR expertise for this role.
Commitment:
1 hour, according to your availability
Project buddy
Support a small group of Fellows (4-5) as they research and prepare an online presentation about a tech company as a team. Show them how to structure their project, organise tasks, and present their findings clearly. Share your tech insights so they understand the company’s role in the industry and answer their questions. Motivate, provide gentle guidance, and build confidence in their ability to collaborate.
Average commitment:
30 min / week for 8 weeks

Linguistic tandem
Lead informal, online conversations with a small group of Fellows, with the goal of improving their fluency in the local language or in English. Explore different subjects and vocabulary in each programme.
Average commitment:
2 hrs / month

Shadowing day volunteer
Welcome a Fellow at your workplace! Introduce her to your work environment. Show her the tools, tasks and activities that are part of your daily routine. You must have tech expertise for this role.
